ABOUT

Adam Stewart is an assistant professor of sociology at Crandall University in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. He holds an MLIS from Western University and a PhD from the University of Waterloo. Adam is the author of one book and editor of another, and has written more than seventy articles, book chapters, reports, and reviews for academic, government, and professional audiences. 

Adam is an expert in the study of Canadian Pentecostalism and religious diversity in Canada. He serves as the interviews editor for the journal Religious Studies Review and reviews editor for the Canadian Journal of Pentecostal-Charismatic Christianity. Adam has also worked outside of the academy as an archivist, the CEO of a public library, and a facilities design librarian.

Adam originates from a family of Scottish, French Acadian, and Mi’kmaq heritage in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. He has been married to Rebecca since 2003, and they are the proud parents of two sons and one daughter.
